Who We Are

Gender Amplified, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to celebrate women music producers, raise their visibility and develop a pipeline for girls and young women to get involved behind the scenes in recording studios.

The ratio of male to female music producers is 49 to 1, according to a study conducted by the University of Southern California entitled “Inclusion in the Recording Studio? Gender and Race/Ethnicity of Artists, Songwriters & Producers Across 600 Popular Songs from 2012-2017."

Through community events and the use of multimedia, the mission of the Gender Amplified movement is to provide a platform for the advancement of women in music production and to identify and motivate the next generation of women music producers.

Adrianne Gonzalez

“AG” Gonzalez, born and raised in Miami, FL, has been producing, songwriting and engineering music since the age of 15. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, AG relocated to Los Angeles and began to make her mark as one of the most prolific female producers in the industry. One-third of the band The Rescues (formerly of Universal Republic), AG’s music has been featured in countless TV shows, feature films and radio stations nationwide.” – www.byaginc.com
